Microshading, also called "powder brows" or "ombre brows", is a technique in which tiny pixels are applied to the brows with a tattoo machine. This creates smooth, filled-in look mimicking a powder, which is suitable for those with thin, patchy, or nonexistent brows. This technique can also be used for old tattoo cover-ups. The shading can be done very densely for those who like more of a dramatic makeup look, or very lightly for those who prefer a subtle, natural look.
